While GPRS is a reliable and cost-efficient method for taking orders using the Ingevoucher ECC systems, there are certain area where network coverage is not always optimal. Ingevoucher announces an upgrade to the ECC solution suite which will allow sales personnel to place orders and collect cash even when no network is available. Orders can now be entered in a secure "offline" mode, and can be reconciled with the Ingevoucher system when the handheld terminal next captures a signal.

This latest functional upgrade to ECC will greatly enhance the flexibility of the system allowing a greater number of merchant locations to be addressed. Deployment has begun in Oman and the new module will soon be available to all ECC customers.
